I had to make a hard decision, I'm no good at those!!

but so far I'm moving forward on it...
Zack is going to an amazing new school for 6th grade.
It's brand new off of Lindsay and Southern.
It's called Great Hearts Academy. They do 6th through 12th.

I'll probably put him in there just till high school.
All of their classes are registered with the school district as being "Honors Classes".
The class sizes are about 20 or less. They teach Latin, they don't cut from the sports, they even offer archery as a sport! They do have about 2 hours of homework, but Zack already does this at Neely.

If I play my cards right Zack could get like 2 years of college before his mission!
You have to turn in an application first to be approved to go and there are waiting lists, but since this is the opening year it feels like a shoe in!! Scottsdale Preparatory, and Chandler Prep are affiliates. The grades are well higher than the normal junior highs! They give tours and are based from Christian Churches so the motto is "True, Good, and Beautiful . (Basically the admonition of Paul.)
They do not teach religion and any faith is welcome as long as they agree to the motto. The teachers are hand selected from thousands of applicants who want to work for this organization and only those who are "kind, loving and patient" are picked.
Some of the teachers are seriously amazing...like for example the dance teacher has a masters degree in dance as well as a masters degree in physics!! Crazy!!
They also do some really sensible things like teach math and physics together because ya can't really do physics if ya don't get the math, right?
They ask for an initial donation of only $50 dollars!! This is just to help pay for the land they rent.
They are a public charter school so Arizona pays for the rest!! A private school education for next to nothing!!
This is a bit scary for me but my neighbor is going to do the same thing with her daughter next year, She loved it too! In the end I let it be Zack's call, I said "but you'll have to leave your friends at Neely." He said, "Mom, I can make new friends."
AHH! He's so sensible!! I love him!
We'll see how long the sensibility lasts when he has to wear a polo with dockers everyday!
But like I said It's Zack's call, if he hates it we'll just move him back to Neely at the semester mark.
So tell me please, Whats your thoughts on all of this??

I say it doesn't hurt to try and it's good to let him know it's okay to not like it.
