Mom, Why does the fat man live in the grass?
I have no idea where this odd line came from today as we drove home. I saw no fat man in any grass anywhere... "I don't know Grant...What fat man?" Grant looks at me puzzled as I get him out of his car seat like I'm the crazy one.... maybe I am.
Later we are talking and I say, "Grant what is your body made of?"
Grant- "Cat."
"Cat?", I say. Grant nonchalantly says, "Yeah…" Odd kid!
Look at this munchkin!! Grandma made him a baby hat and came over but guess what it was too small for this kids noggin. So She'll save it for the next baby and made this one with a cute red star button on the adult loom. I wasn't surprised though, all my kid's head sizes were in the 90 percentile as babies, Kaden is no exception! (Grant's probably still there...) Kaden is also on the charts in the 90's for height...go figure, he was my shortest baby. But since he's only 17 lbs he's only in 50th for weight...
And here he is putting his teeth to good work! I think celery was invented for just this purpose, but it being a choking hazard you can't walk away...But with this cute face who would want to?
"Cat?", I say. Grant nonchalantly says, "Yeah…" Odd kid!
In other news....
When I went into the doctors a few days ago and finally heard a heart beat!!! Yeah! So I set out to find a in utero picture of an "11 week old fetus" on the web by way of google images to post on this blog but......
Big Mistake!!!
The graphic picts of aborted fetuses and other still born shots are enough to make you want to crawl under a very big rock and Never come out! I think back to my first and second pregnancies... If I had seen stuff like this, it would have sent me to my room crying, kicking my butt for days.
But now that I'm older and just a bit wiser,
I realize that God has a plan and He is always in control. The infants are safe in His arms.
That being said...
Why is pregnancy viewed as such a horrible thing?
Why does it cost more to adopt a child than it does to get an abortion??
maybe I'm better off trying to figure out why sheep don't shrink in the rain...

I love how you blog the silly things your kids say. It always perks me up and makes me laugh.
