These Best friends are the cutest kids on the planet!
(they are stylin' two cave girl dresses I made for them!!)
Now, here's what's been boggling my mind. Turns out each chicken took 2 days to start laying eggs and Henny Penny pictured below was last to lay. She looks much different than the other 3 and I think I realized today why.....
(She is so funny, she just walked into the house today like she owned the place. she came in for 10 min. And didn't poop once. For a chicken that's down right weird.)

Speaking of weird, here is the eggs layed by fuzzy face "Kronc" which are perfectly green.
This egg represents a normal egg in size.
Now here is the slightly pinkish egg layed by Henny Penny being compared to a kronc egg.

The others are actually Plymouth Rocks or aka Partridge bantams (bantam means small).
The Rocks were in the enclosure
right below the Reds when I bought them. They may even be a combination of both.
Are my chickens mutts?
Probably.
They were only $1.00 each.
Either way, I love them just the same.
But at least I know whats going on now.
It may seem to anyone else that a chicken is a chicken, not me.
RIR's are very proud mothers and when they lay you are gonna hear about it!!
Thankfully it's normally around noon and most people are at work.
Bok, bok, bok, bog-gawk!
