Well, just put all the kiddies in bed and I've got a spare minute to write here.
This whole blog thing seems like a lot of wierd hoops to jump through just to make sure you are who you are but, what if your a forgetful dope? Passwords, usernames, blog names, blah blah blah. Yes, I know someone get a burp rag 'cause I'm a cry baby.
Any hoo, I'm sooooo happy that my first Enrichment went over so well. 2 years ago I was the midweek activity person, then last year I was the enrichment leader. Now in this "new" ward (I've only been here nearly a year now..) I'm the Enrichment Leader again but with a whole new twist seeing as how they combined the two roles. With every new calling there is always a struggle but this one is wonderful. (Nothing is as bad as being a boy scout leader for 2 combined wards that lacked any organization...but it was still awesome...) I find that having a calling is such a needed blessing. How can anyone sit back and relax at church on Sunday seeing those who sacrifice so much to make the meetings run smoothly through out the day and not feel like they should contribute? Well, for myself I know that I feel happy that I have this calling and yet sad because they took me from teaching 8-9 year olds and doing cubscouts to do it. I only had been there for 2 months! Well, Anyways, (I think that is my favorite word to use to change a subject) I sure do love to write! I get up at 7:30am with the kids only to go to bed at 12am because of it! I'm really happy with my new baseboards our neighbors gave to us. Jose works for model homes installing doors and baseboards so they let the workers sometime take home extras. Cool! Our neighbors are so awesome! We are so blessed to live where we live. Anytime we are in need of something the Lord just opens little windows like that for us. Just yesterday I was talking to another neighbor and she told me that her husband could get me a new radiator for my mercedes way cheep because he works for an auto body shop and they get awesome discounts for parts. My poor old broke down 79 lime green mercedes needs some lovin'! Parts for mercedes even old ones are so not cheep!!!! But I am!!! So that's awesome!
Today the neighborhood kids folded all my laundry and put it away just so I would show them how to make brownies! They even brought the eggs! Too Cute! This is a pict of Zack getting stuck in the laundry basket! The dog really wants to help!I admit that it can get a little crazy around here sometimes with crying kids and poopy diapers galore but, I have solace in knowing I'm where I'm supposed to be doing what I'm supposed to do. One step at a time is how its done around here And, time out is such a blessed thing....Epecially when it's for me!!!
MAN (remember when it was cool to say that), I have so much to do tomorrow! This week being spring break means for me spring cleaning. With Zack home it's easier to clean because I've got those extra set of hands to help with Abby and Grant.
I had to empty out my entire kitchen and sanitize all the cupboards because we had a mouse and now that it's gone ...lets just say no hauntavirus for me!!! My Dad's best friend was the first one to die of that crap and I'm so not taking any chances!!
Ok, wake up, sheesh this blog ain't that long....and ain't is too a word!
Forever Gramatically yours,
Roseanne Service
