More Spring Break Antics

It's called a SNAFU...ever heard of it?

Yup this exactly what it looks like... Guess what...I left the lug nut remover/tire iron at home!!! The world wild life zoo is in Surprise!!

That is 40 miles away!!

We were 4 miles away from making it to the zoo too!! After trying to call in a tow truck from Youngstown to help us change the tire for $40... finally a really nice man with an air wrench and huge holes all over his stained shirt stopped to fix everything in a JIFFY! He was heavy set and very jolly. He cracked a joke and refused my money by telling me to buy some lunch for the kids...I never even got a name!!! I spurted out a very goofy "Thanks, God Bless you". ....Maybe Santa is real....it makes sense to me If you live in the North Pole you'd want to visit Arizona in the Spring.

Then we went to the zoo:

We saw the "Singing Dogs" from New Guinea... the only singing came from the kids....

Ben liked the vulture and the monkeys2 seconds after this pict the camera died!!! No picts of all the aquarium with it's many mantas to pet and the penguins, petting baby deer, turtles and goats and feeding giraffes!! This place was SOO amazing!!

I want to cry, NO PICTS!!!!! NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!

Then... I tell all the kids that they will get to ride this splash log coaster. I had $20 and it was $6 per kid. Z, A, G, B, and Gab so I need $30. I say, "No problem I'll just go into the gift shop and get the cash"...The ATM's guts are hanging out with the out of order sign and they don't "do" cash back, So I go to the other shop, then to the restaurant, then to the dude running the ride...BUT NO, NADA CASH BACK!!

So I start getting all sad and I'm trying to explain my life and what I should do about it to the guy running the ride...But he said "Just give me the $20 and they can go." Oh My gosh!!! Thank you!!

So there was much relying on the kindness of strangers that day!!

Then the kids who I trusted with the diaper backpack...had along the way lost all the diapers in the park!!!

Shakespeare would be proud of my Comedy of ERRORS!

The next day we went out to meet our neighbors to ride ATV's but the ATV went 10 feet and then died. So Plan B go to the lake...again.

Melody had a lot to say to Sabrina!

When it started to get cold we sat by the fire but then decided to go home and hit the new Tia Rosa's (where Fazzoli's used to be on Gilbert and Baseline) I got the stuffed quesadilla...Soo good!

We had a great Spring break....now onto the work of MOVING!!!

I have one week till the blessed event and I have packed 4 boxes...but hey I got the washer that filled the laundry room last week with water working again.

Like I said before...My life=Comedy of Errors!!
