The illusive redneck family in it's natural habitat

So I had to post this.. It's the very rare 4year old vacuuming up his room...for some reason Grant loves to vacuum! Now on to the most embarrassing part of today's news...
The church heads quarters in Salt lake is gathering film for church videos as was making a trip to Az. So on Sunday way back when, a sign up went around and I signed up. Why not, right? My family was cute enough, right....
SO,
They call and ask questions about our family....she tells me there is such a large response from Gilbert that we may not get picked to which I breathed a sigh of relief because they want to film right before my sister's wedding....
BUT,
We got picked....but why?
The church was interested in the fact that I make my children to "Chicken Chores" as we called it. So they got a film of Zack cleaning out the coop, a shot of Tres reading to Abigail, and a THEN
I had mentioned that we do sing (meaning Me, Abigail and Grant) they asked Tres , Zack and Abby to sing I'm a child of God next to the coop in grubby farmer clothes!!
They told us that if they had planned out the whole scene it wouldn't have been as perfect as Tres in his hunting overalls (lets not mention his chipped front tooth) and Abby in her hat and jumper and Zack in a flannel shirt holding the chicken, next to a redbarn coop and weathervane!!!
I know they were filming with audio but I couldn't help it...

And here it is : Tres singing take 2.... Zack and Abby bounced to the upbeat version of the song played. Tres was perfectly on pitch and sounded great to my utter astonishment!!! It must be the nightly practice with the song (Feeling Good) he was asked to sing for Bonnie's wedding!!!

AND TO THINK WHEN I MET HIM HE DIDN'T SING A LICK!!

Now he's singing for a church vid!!!

Too funny!!!

It goes to show ya...never a dull day down on the Service farm!!
