Bonnie and Quinn drove up literally right off of their honeymoon from California . They were so tired!!
Then the program started... the kids did the nativity...Cornwallace had to be the angel because Kaden was sick and fell asleep.
You can see the sleeping Kaden in the lower left corner in this pict....The kids did a great job as usual...the dog did too!
Then I read a story from the book "Outstanding stories from General Authorities". It was about Sargent "RED IRWIN". He saved his entire crew of 11 on his bombardier plane by carrying a burning phosphorous bomb and throwing it out the window. The bomb was 1000 degrees. His sacrifice allowed his plane to carry them safely home, where as if he had not it would have burned through the plane floor and set all the bombs in the plane off. He was able to go with his life and marry and have kids even with his horrible disfigurement. His sacrifice reminds us all about the ultimate sacrifice of Jesus for us, which is why we celebrate his birth.
After all of this we went on to sing a ton of Christmas carols just as Robert showed up after all of his singing gigs.
Oh an I forgot to mention that the night before we also sang and the nursing home my Grandma was at. I was a bit taken back by the old woman who yelled at me a few times to "Let's GO!" while I was introducing our family but other than that we had a great time. ;-)

Such a cute movie! Who doesn't cry when all the town pulls together to save him from going to jail!! The importance of our lives sometimes can seem so small but each of us have done more good on this earth than we know and we are needed to fight the good fight. Hope your Christmas Eve was equally as lovely as ours was!
And as Abigail said to everyone as they left: MERRY CHRISTMAS TO ALL AND TO ALL A GOOD NIGHT!
