WAY TOO MUCH GOING ON!!

I've been up to my eyeballs in activities!!

Especially while my sister in law Sage was here. Having Jacob home now also makes for more activities going on.

So here's a few picts of my latest adventures....

Like playing at Espee Splash Pad!

and then we went to see Uncle Jake at the fire station!!
{-as you can see Sage and I had some pretty full vehicles!}

Check this out... He was able to get in full gear in less than a minute and a half!! WOW!Go Jake!!The smaller kids were pretty scared at first but then he ask them to touch him and reminded them that if they see someone like him they are there to save you and help you. They felt much better after getting to touch him.Check out the cool equipment!
Here's the locker room...
Abby loved being in the fire truck!
But mostly the kids loved to get the hands on experience...

Thanks Uncle Jake!!

and in other news...

Check out the cool hair do I did on Abby for a fun day of swimming with her best friend...

The BFFs..

We even managed to do our chores... Abby likes to mop but decided to do it in dress shoes and a bathing suit... OK, whatever at least she's doing it! We have a new chore system this summer that involves getting service dollars... I designed them before you start to knock the sillyness...
Here is the list of ways they can earn them and what they can save them up for...It's worked so well that even my little brother who sometimes sleeps over and Abby's BFF also have an account at our bank. It has motivated Zack into changing like 85% of all the diapers around here so I am loving having him around!!
We've been traveling out and about so many places that it was time to just enjoy a day at home. Our cure for home boredom this Friday was making homemade paper!!
We ripped up old scrap paper, soaked it in water, and popped it into the blender...Poured it out on an old screen I saved when we got rid of our old backdoor that had a window. We used the rolling pin to press out the water from the screen which was sandwiched between two towels. After a quick dry in the AZ sun we had paper!! So fun for the kids and easy to do!
Later, we ran though sprinklers...
Kaden loved it!
I am so glad that we've been so busy with a 1001 things so far this summer but I'm looking forward to doing a few more things around the house and getting stuff done before #5 arrives!

We started this back at the end of April. It only works because daily they want things like popsicles and they have to pay me for them. Even time on the computer is a buyable item.
For us it's all about want and needs. Because I know what they WANT I can ask them to keep track of thier own money and pay for it (toys, candy) but what they NEED I will always provide free of charge (meals, clothing, love...) I'm such a nice Mom! *buff finger nails*
Either way the motivation daily of getting money from me hasn't really fizzled yet. Grant has the hardest time because he sometimes forgets to ask for his payment once the chore is done. Too funny!
