More Camping...AM I insane?

Tres has really want to take us camping for some time now. Mostly because he's had to miss the last 2 trips we took because of major work deadlines. So even though we had just gone last Friday and Saturday to Saguaro Lake, When Tres said this weekend to go to Roosevelt the kids and I were totally excited! Zack loves fishing! At Roosevelt, our camp site was on Windy Hill overlooking the lake. Soo beautiful!

What was even better having a huge tent big enough for our 4 cots and pack n play!! Rock on!
This was Tooo cute not to post..... Just look at Abby and Grant... They are just so sweet!

Could WE BE ANY DIRTIER? That's mud all over me!

Here's a "REAL" attractive pict of Tres and I watching the kids fish and play. SOOOO DIRTY! The campgrounds and water actually was pretty nice and clean but the second the kids started playing they stirred up the mud and made mud pies!

Even Kaden got in on it... but just a little... we don't want him slurping any lake water. So Dirty! The dog who had been fetching sticks the kids threw in the lake, looked now like a forgotten stuffed animal left the backyard corner. (Don't worry we actually made him take a shower w/ soap before bed.)Tres couldn't handle all the grime... so he disappeared.... I found him over by the washing barrel with Kaden on the changing table giving him a bath ...What a cute Daddy!.... but then I told him there was a shower facility just up the hill.... oh well...Then it was daddy who cooked us dinner....just one problem... I forgot to pack the can opener... So he grabbed some pliers out and Viola! Dinner! Then Tres started messing with my camera and took these picts:I remember saying something like:"Tres you are messing up all my settings! You are going to make us look like ghost people..." ....Ah Hem:
Then when it was time to finally go (motivation thanks to some 6am blasting hard rock from college drunk dudes) Tres decided to try and take the "OLD ROAD". There is an old road that is DIRT that leads from Canyon lake to Roosevelt. It has like I think I counted 5 one lane bridges and VERY treacherous ONE LANE mountain passes!! Me and Gabrielle say there is only one word to describe it! RE-DONK-U-LUS!

Finally we decided, after donking Tres in the back of his head whilst he called us wusses, we decided to stop at Canyon Lake to let our nerves...er I mean our kids unwind and do some swimming slash fishing! This is a cute pict of Zack throwing the line out for Grant for the the umpteenth time.

Kaden again wasn't gonna miss out either!

The fun wasn't over when we got back... during the bustle of clean up Someone lost a tooth!
Thankfully It was just Abby! And if our day wasn't full enough we still put all our stuff away, brought back all borrowed stuff to my parents, *SHOWERED*and still made it to Ward temple night, watched the movie BOLT, laughed a lot finally figuring out where the word redonkulus came from and posted this blog!
Now I shall take me and my sun burns to bed!
G'NIGHT!

How fun! I like going camping, too but it's been awhile.

Oh how fun! I think the thing with Tres is cute and sweet. What a nice daddy, so hygenic. I also get annoyed when people mess with my camera settings, mostly because I never know how to fix them.
