Abigail's first talk is today!

Sorry the scan of the pict is so bad but I CAN NOT take it out of the frame to scan it and you'll find out why in a minute.

Here's how her talk goes:



"This picture of Mary holding the baby Jesus was cut from a magazine in 1924 by my Great Great Grandmother. It has been kept all these years and passed down to me.
Having such a special reminder of my ancestors helps me remember that I have a special heritage. It also reminds me I have a divine heritage as well.
I am thankful to know that I am a child of God. "



Roseanne's note:

It may seem silly to have his old cut out from as magazine but remember times were hard back then. This pict hung by my great Grandma Emily in my Grandma Donna's room for 21 years. In a way this picture is a link from Abigail to Emily and that is priceless. To forget our ancestors is to be unaware of all they gave for us to be here on this earth. It's a key to remembering our divine potential. Think of all those who came before you! They want you to do your best a have the best. All that you do for good adds glory and honor to their names. Isn't it wonderful how a simple thing like this old piece of paper wrapped in an old frame can be a powerful reminder to me and my posterity to aspire higher as we think of our ancestral cheer leading team cheering us on!

(you have them too... even if you are unaware of them.... who they were... or that they even existed.... you are apart of them... their blood is in your veins.... you are loved!! )
