Struggling to Survive

Every time I have a new baby there is this phase I hit where the whole world falls in on me. I think it's a test of sheer will. So today I hit the maximum occupancy limit in my brain I decided to write see if I feel any better. So here is my list of "My why moments"

1. Why did the washing machine have to break down and flood the laundry room?


2. Why did the dishwasher break down and die yesterday?



3. Why did AYSO put Zack with an all Mesa team and Abigail in Gilbert?


4. Why did it rain like crazy the week our celeing was still ruined ceiling?


5. Why did the insurance adjuster give us nothing with which to fix it?


6. Why does our new baby have a cold?


7. Why did the breaks go out in the suburban Friday?


8. Why did we have to have mice?


9. Why did the ceiling fan in Zack's room pull out of the ceiling hanging on wires?


10. Why did my cell phone have to die yesterday?


11. Why did I have to lock myself out of my own home yesterday making Zack and Abby miss soccer practice?


12. Why did I have to lock myself out of my own car at Wal-mart last week to get the candy for pack meeting that we forgot to use?


13. Why did we need to get locked out of our bathroom yesterday after Tres and his tools are gone?


14. Why does my printer not work anymore?


15. Why won't the bulk trash people come?


16. Why did the operator for the city trash tell me to wait till Friday to see if they will come when she didn't even ask what area I live in?


17. Why did the DVDs I burned of Daniel's funeral not work even after I verified the data?


18. Why did one of my kids have to steal my mom's house phone? I just found it in my diaper bag!


19. Why did the secretary at the Landlord Tenants Advocates tell Kristina to move out of her house and then come to an appointment in Phx, that I drove her to, when Neither were supposed to be done according to the actual Advocate there?
20. Why did the wheel on the air compressor crumble to dust just as I was trying to use it for cub scouts?

Ok I think that's everything... whew! Now to off set my sad list I'll quickly state what I am so happy for:

1. My health, no joke, I can see with my eyes! (Sorry about your hubby's Lasik mishap, Niki. I hope he gets better soon.)


2. My husband, who works unending for us! He is truly the hardest working person I know!


3. Zack for devising a way to unlock the bathroom using a Q-tip.


4. Grant for holding & feeding Kaden on his lap so I can go pee!


5. Shayda for letting me use her washing machine.


6. Bonnie and Jacob for surviving hurricane Gustav.


7. My mom for saving me by having the extra key to my car and driving it to me.


8. Trisha for making the video for Bonnie & Jacob which included the day of Kaden's birth.


9. Gabrielle and all she did to help me the whole month of July... 24/7 ! Her new hair looks amazing!


10. Sage for sacrificing herself, missing out on the birth, to watch my kids.


11. Diane Christiansen for bringing us food with out being asked.


12. Diane (My mom-in-law) who watched the kids last minute while I went visiting teaching!


13. Craig (my dad-in-law) who stopped by on his own to take Grant, Zack and Ben swimming Friday.


14. Robert for filling in last minute in my lesson for the Allred Family Home Evening night.


15. Abigail for praying last night that we would get a new dishwasher. too cute


16. Laughing about how Tres nearly posted an unfinished message to an old friend that said Tres from "ill-bert" and the rest was blank.


17. Natalie Evans and the nice comment she left me on Facebook and her blog.


18. Getting the chance to talk to Joe Ahlander one of my best friends from High school that I hadn't seen since my wedding!


19. Laurette Goss for picking me up to go visiting teaching when my brakes were out.


20. Kristina for the new washer, Dyson vacuum and table and various other things from her move.

I feel much better now!

But I do have one question?

WHAT COSMIC FORCE COMBINED AGAINST ALL ELECTRICAL THINGS AT MY HOUSE?
