Tagged again!
I just got tagged by my Cousin Becky.
It's about Tres and I, and it's perfect timing since we just celebrated 11 years of knowing each other!
How did we meet: I was a member of a young adult tour guide group at the Mesa temple grounds, one of the members had a birthday party at his house, Morgan Ellsworth. I already brought my then boyfriend (David). My friend, Jennifer Sundberg thought she'd bring me a blind date (Tres) not knowing I already had some one.
Where did you go on your first date: We went to the park by Sam's club where our kids now play soccer. We just talked and hung out, I was totally crushing on him from then on...
How long have you been together: known each other for 11 years, been married for 10 1/2
Who said I love you first: probably him, can't really remember, But one time in the car we were laughing about a really funny thing I had done and I said with out thinking that "someday we'd tell our children about this", Immediately I was stunned I had said that, but somehow I was ok with it.
Who is taller: Tres
Who sings better: Me
Who is smarter: Me (when it comes to having a feeling about something) Him (When it comes to technical things and practical problem solving.)
Who does the laundry: Me & sometimes he does his own undies
Who does the dishes: Me & sometimes him
Who sleeps on the right side of the bed: if you are looking at the bed, Tres does. I have no idea how we decided on that, but it's been that way since day one!
Who pays the bills: Him, I hate it. I used to do it and I almost killed him on daily basis.
Who mows the lawn: Who ever gets to the mower first, be both like to do it.
Who cooks dinner: HIM!! like 98% of all cooking is him, he loves it. I cook if we are having something easy, or a dessert.
Who drives when you are together: Tres unless he is sick of driving that day, that is rare.
Who is more stubborn: Totally Tres
Who kissed who first: Tres did. He was way more ok with letting me know from day 1 that he liked me. He knew it from the moment he saw me. It took me while because I was in the middle to 2 other guys at the time, I was young, and I wasn't sure how committed he was to our church being recently reactivated.
Who is more sensitive: Me (but this depends on the subject!)
Who proposed: Tres. again and again and again... I felt I was too young or just not ready to grow up. I can't remember them all but I can remember: Once on a mountain top over looking phoenix at sunset, once at a wedding, once at mall in front of a jewelry store. The jewelry store one finally paid off. I gave him a letter with Yes-es all over it one for every time he had asked.
Who has more siblings: Me
Who wears the pants: Tres, I guess. I'd like to picture it as each of us have a leg in one side... As much as I joke, in the end I trust him! And he is the head of our household but I am the neck who turns the head! I call it our "Puzzle Piece Equality". LOL!
