So here we are at the mall! Picts are courtesy of my phone... She told me she was going to be brave and not cry.
And oddly enough she was very brave and didn't even flinch. She made sure I knew she only wanted diamonds. (not real ones, how much money do you think I have? We got the 5 mm CZs.)$40 later... a cutie pie at home showing of her bling!
She's a big girl now and all ready to start school in August.

my mom wouldnt let me get earrings because she thought it was too old country (seriously, i was 12 when i got my 1st hole in my ears! but, being a child of the 1980s, ihad many more before the decade was up! now they are empty...). hardley anyone in my family had their ears peirced because they thought that americans didnt do it.
