Please please please Let me just BARF right now! I'm back from the horrible Glucose tolerance test that drains a whole hour of your health and time away! Only a doctor would tell you to go poison yourself so he can see how your body reacts!
Why can't it just come in a pixie stix form or a giant sugar pill?? I could just throw one back down my gullet with out tasting it and then sip some cool refreshing water as I prepare to go through the sugar high and crash all in front of the public eye. (*cue Kaden doing the sugar high Can Can*)
I pray that I passed or I'll get to do it again!!! Except it would be for 3 hours! I had to do that once with Zack's pregnancy (not fun) and the test came back that I was fine!!!!!! GRRRR!
So here's a cold one for complaining,
and hey at least the guy at the front desk said the drink was on him!

they gave you a glass and a cool straw!? WTF!? I had to drink it out of the bottle! i do NOT envy you right now for your glucose test..YUCK!
Don't you know better than to let other men "buy you drinks"? Bottoms up! I guess.
When we were doing the whole fertility thing my doc made me do the 3 hour test cause one of my blood work tests came back all werid. I passed but you are right that stuff is nasty. It reminds me of the orange soda pop at Mickey D's with out the carbination. I hate that stuff. Good luck!
WAA! I failed by one point so I have to do the 3 hour! Why why why! Stupid test! Even the doctor says it will probably come back normal... :(
I can't even drink orange soda because of that test! The last time I had to take it, they had a lemon-lime choice, so I took that one, and now I can't really drink sprite because of it! That stinks you have to do it again! I had the diabetes with both my first and my third, but not my second. I did really well with my third one! I didn't gain a pound for the last 6 weeks of being pregenant because I followed the diet to the "T". Hopefully, it will come back normal for you!

ididnt mind the test as much as i thought i would. i was stressing that it would be the most aweful thing ever, but i guess i have had things that tasted worse because this didnt even phase me. but im weird.
