Look at what the cat dragged in! J/K
so HERE"S THE SCOOP!
After almost exactly 24 hours of labor and one hour pushing Baby Mckenzie was finally born at 1:40 am. Holly was about to buy herself a c-section because Holly had a fever, baby was sunny side up, her water had been broken for11 hours, and baby was having big dips in heart rate. Holly was told they would only try the suction cup one time because they didn't want to hurt the baby. She pushed with all her might and then some. It was the hardest push she had done all night. Baby Mckenzie came right out. I thought that Roxie was going to faint when the doc did the episiotomy. Holly said she wasn't going to have a c-section and must have really meant it. Da bebe was 7 lbs and 5 oz with lots of black curly-ish hair. Mckenzie decided she didn't want to cry because everyone else in the room was already doing that. She has two little skin tags by her left ear and they will probably fall off. (You know you're in trouble when your baby is trying to grow her own jewelry before she's even born.) When the little angel was handed to Grandpa Craig, Holly spoke for Mckenzie saying, "Grandma Service says Hi." Thanks Holly polly, like we weren't balling enough.
A new family, and their first meeting together.
